This Sound Isolation Clip from Marvel Mute Fully encases the Hat channel with rubber ensuring no metal to metal connection.

The clip design allows for easier installation, the clip can be mounted to the channel and then attached to the studs. Additionally you can fasten the clip to the studs with one screw and then open the other side to allow the channel to be inserted or removed easily without the need to squueze the channel. Made from Fire Retardant Rubber  and is Classified UL rated.

I was at my wit's end! 15 years of barking dogs, and calling animal control. This was my last desperate resort.
Even though they were pricey, I had to try them.
I am so happy!!!
They didn't completely block out the low frequent bass and truck engines, but NO BARKING!
I can sit in my little library, and lose myself in another world, without the constant nagging barking of my neighbor's dogs. (It never stops when she's not home, which is all day every day.)
