Each roll of Joist Gasket Tape is 2 1/4" x 100' and 1/8" thick.

The tape is used most frequently on floor joists before the installation of the sub floor. This results in the elimination of any future squeaking problems in addition to giving your floor some decoupling properties which is a step in the soundproofing between floors.

The tape is also used in walls and ceilings joists to give some soundproofing enhancements by breaking the direct contact between drywall and joists.
