Windows are always tough to soundproof and hence are often neglected in a soundproofing project. This convenient vision lite kit can be applied to an existing window, door, or wall for enhanced sound ratings. Adding an additional layer adds protection from sound transmission.
This lite kit can be cut to any size required and can be purchased in two anodized finishes. Aluminum frame is made of high quality material that will last through constant usage and color will not fade over time.
Application:
Lite kit frame is surface mounted to the door/wall/or window frame. Frame is designed with a handy snap on cover which conceals mounting screws, for a clean and neat finish. It is compatible with 1/4” (.25") glass (glass not included with frame). It has rubber extrusions set in for reinforcement purposes.
Lite kit is shipped as four separate aluminum strips which are mitered and can easily be applied on the application surface. Installation screws are provided.
How to order:
The order size should be 2 inches wider and higher than the exposed glass. The glass size should be .75" wider and higher of the exposed area. See product specs for visual details.
