Price is for door saddle only (automatic door bottoms sold separately) starting at 3 feet long [for shorter lengths give us a call], please note the exact size you need in the custom size box above and we will custom cut it for you. The bottom of your door will need .125" clearance from the floor and not more than .500". See Diagram below.

This solid heavy gauge sound rated door saddle with a neoprene gasket is great for sealing the bottom of doors. It can be used on it's own or with the specially designed shoulder in conjunction with our soundproof door bottom as in the image above. Additionally this saddle is smoke and fire rated.

You should consider using a saddle or threshold when your floor is uneven [for slight gaps between the floor and saddle seal with acoustic caulk] or when you have carpet installed and the automatic door bottom cannot give you a proper seal. Some customers will take a saddle together with a door bottom in any case in order to ensure the bast seal possible.
